PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Company: 7THLETTERMEDIA LLC, New Jersey ("7th Letter Media", "we", "us"). Contact for privacy: brientdougherty@7thlettermedia.com · Contact form: 7thlettermedia.com/production-services-1 · 155 Willowbrook Blvd, Suite 110, Wayne, NJ 07470
This policy covers 7thlettermedia.com and Content Forge on the web and in the "7LM Forge" (iPhone/iPad) and "7LM Content Forge" (Android) apps.
The short version (plain English)
What we keep: your login details from Wix (name, email), your projects, the photos, video, audio and scripts you upload, what the AI makes for you, what you type and click in the app, and your purchase history.
Why: to run the studio, keep your projects, charge you correctly, keep people safe, and make the product better.
What you type is logged so we can see where people get stuck and improve the product.
We never sell your data. No ads, no ad trackers.
We don't train AI on your content. If we ever offer that, you'd have to opt in.
AI providers see what they need to make your pictures, video and voices (for example Google, fal.ai, ElevenLabs). They work for us.
Our staff can open your projects for support, safety and moderation, and nothing else.
Payments: Stripe handles your card. We never see the number.
Delete your account anytime: Account → Delete my account…. Done within 30 days.
1. What we collect
1.1 You give us
Account: name, email address, Wix member ID, profile picture if set (from the Wix login on 7thlettermedia.com).
Projects: titles, stories, scripts, screenplays, scene lists, characters, notes, comments, edits (from you, in the app).
Uploads: photos (including faces), video footage, audio, voice recordings, music, reference pictures (from you; your camera/microphone; files you pick).
Imported files: files you choose from Google Drive (only the files you pick, read-only).
Prompts and inputs: what you type into text boxes, choices you pick.
Support: emails and messages you send us, deletion requests.
Purchases: what you bought, amount, date, plan, credit balance; Stripe customer and payment IDs; billing country/ZIP for tax (from Stripe).
We don't receive or store full card numbers. Stripe does.
1.2 Collected automatically
Activity log: pages opened, buttons clicked, errors, where you got stuck, and text you type (kept up to 500 characters per entry). First-party only, stored in our own Cloudflare account, readable only by the owner. Kept 90 days.
Technical logs: IP address, browser/device type, time of requests, error reports. Kept for a limited time by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and debugging.
Cookies and local storage: a sign-in session cookie, and settings saved in your browser (for example, offline copies of your videos you chose to keep). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
On-device only: Face ID / fingerprint lock uses your device's passkey; we never receive your face or fingerprint. Speech-to-text for voice direction runs through your device's speech service (Apple or Google).
1.3 What we don't collect
Precise location, contacts, advertising IDs, or health data. We don't use your photos for face recognition across users; "faces" in a project are only used to keep your own characters consistent.
1.4 Google sign-in and Google user data
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. If you connect Google Drive, we get read-only access to the files you choose to import, and nothing else. We do not request access to your Gmail, Contacts or Calendar.
We use information we receive from Google only to create and secure your account, sign you in, import the files you pick, and contact you about the Service. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and we share it only with service providers needed to run the Service or where the law requires. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
2. How we use it
1. Run the Service: sign you in, save your projects, make your AI outputs, edit and export your videos.
2. Payments: charge you, add credits, handle refunds, send receipts, keep tax records.
3. Support: answer questions and fix problems in your projects.
4. Safety and moderation: automatic checks (for example, a sexual-content check on generated pictures and video), reviewing reports, stopping fraud and abuse, and meeting legal duties such as reporting child sexual abuse material to NCMEC.
5. Product improvement: we look at the activity log (including what people type) to see what people ask for and where they get stuck. Only our team reads it.
6. Messages: service emails (for example "your video is ready", receipts, policy changes). We don't send marketing emails today; if we start, only with your agreement and with an unsubscribe link.
AI training
We do not use your uploads, prompts or outputs to train AI models, and we don't let our providers do so. If we ever want to, we'll ask you to opt in first; it will be off by default.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
We share only what's needed with service providers who work for us under contract:
Wix: sign-in, member accounts, the 7thlettermedia.com site (name, email, member ID).
Cloudflare: hosting, storage of projects and media (R2), security (everything stored in the Service).
Stripe: payments, subscriptions, tax, receipts (name, email, purchase details, card data entered directly with Stripe).
Google (Gemini API): writing, pictures, understanding footage (the prompts, text and pictures for that request).
fal.ai and the models it runs (e.g. Kling, Seedance, Seedream, FLUX): pictures and video (the prompts and pictures for that request).
ElevenLabs: voices, music, sound effects, lip-sync audio (the text lines and voice settings for that request).
OpenAI API: some footage and editing analysis features (frames/text for that request).
Google Drive: importing files, only if you connect it (read access to files you pick).
Apple / Google: app downloads, push notifications, on-device speech (device tokens; speech audio per their policies).
We also share information: if the law requires it (a valid subpoena or court order), or to report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC; to protect people: to stop fraud, abuse, or a threat to someone's safety; in a business sale or merger, under this policy's protections; we'd tell you first.
4. Staff access
The owner and authorized team members or contractors can open accounts and projects only to: give support you asked for, fix bugs, review safety reports or flagged content, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties. Access is limited to people who need it, they're bound to confidentiality, and owner-only screens are protected by sign-in. We keep a log of every time staff open a customer's project.
5. How long we keep it
Account, projects, uploads, outputs: while your account is open, until you delete them. Some storage has a set lifetime that's shown when you buy it.
After you ask to delete your account: deleted within 30 days. Any backup copies are deleted within 30 more days.
Activity log: 90 days.
Purchase and tax records: 7 years (tax and accounting law), even after account deletion.
Safety records (blocked content reports, bans, NCMEC reports): as long as needed for safety and legal duties.
6. Your choices and rights
See, download, fix or delete your data: most of it is in the app (projects, exports). For anything else, email brientdougherty@7thlettermedia.com or use our contact form at 7thlettermedia.com/production-services-1.
Delete your account: Account → Delete my account… in the app or on the web, or the public Delete your account page (linked from 7thlettermedia.com/support) without signing in to the app. We finish within 30 days and confirm by email. You can withdraw the request before we act. Deleting doesn't cancel a paid plan by itself: cancel it first.
Opt out of marketing email with the unsubscribe link.
Camera, microphone, photos: allowed only when you grant them; turn them off anytime in your phone's settings.
Notifications: turn off in the app or your phone's settings.
U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on where you live (for example New Jersey, California, and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete and get a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of its "sale", "sharing" for targeted ads, or profiling. We don't sell or share data for targeted ads. To use your rights, email brientdougherty@7thlettermedia.com or use our contact form at 7thlettermedia.com/production-services-1; we'll verify it's you and answer within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. If we say no, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Outside the U.S. The Service is run from the United States and your data is stored and processed there.
7. Security
We encrypt data in transit (HTTPS), keep media in private storage that only signed-in owners of a project (and our staff, as above) can reach, protect owner tools with separate checks, and never store card numbers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we'll tell you as the law requires.
8. Children
Content Forge is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 18 as users). If you think a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it. Photos or footage of children that adults upload (for example, family or wedding footage) belong to that adult's project, and that adult promises they have permission (Terms, section 5.4).
9. Changes
We'll post changes here with a new effective date, and tell you by email or in the app before material changes take effect.
